Distantly Beautiful
I found you
in my closet
words literally
falling on my
head
and no one
knows the secret
except me
how your lines
flutter hard
like cannons into
a parachute
images falling
bundling landing
atop delicate
spider web pillows
reappearance
resurrection salvation
scribbles in
notebooks
pen marked margins
my flushed cheeks
tangled twisted
amid spiral binding
boxed memories
opened peeled
inhaled once again and
you remain still
distantly beautiful
unaware of your
unchanging perfection.
