My name is Nikki Lockhart and I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating from University of Louisville in 1995, my work moved me to Florida, Ohio and Nevada. I made the move back Louisville to in 2019 and settled in the Germantown neighborhood.

I have written poetry most of my life and am constantly inspired by reading the work of other authors.

My poems have been published in : Spleen Vol. #1 Spring Edition 1996; Spleen Vol. #2 Fall Edition 1996; Yellow Springs News, Yellow Springs, OH Vol. 121 #19 2000; Curbside Review Volume 6, Issue 11, November 2005 and Sustaining member of the Academy of American Poets.
