My name is Nikki Lockhart and I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating from University of Louisville in 1995 my work moved me to Florida, Ohio and Nevada. My family made the move back to in 2019 and settled in the Germantown neighborhood of Louisville.

I have written poetry most of my life and am constantly inspired by reading the work of other authors.

My poems have been published in : Spleen Vol. #1 Spring Edition 1996; Spleen Vol. #2 Fall Edition 1996; Yellow Springs News, Yellow Springs, OH Vol. 121 #19 2000; Curbside Review Volume 6, Issue 11, November 2005 and Sustaining member of the Academy of American Poets.
