poem~ Caravan Cinders and Sage

Caravan Cinders and Sage

Holding yourself open
I walked no hesitation
within you
alongside peering shadows
the smile enrapturing
me drawing me closer
to sit ourselves
among yellow bonfire talks
their words we later
took laughingly as our own
backs on the grass
whispering wishes at
dizzy falling stars
and under midnight
so easily
your lips soft satin of gypsy scarves
wrapping hypnotic
kisses like Merlin’s spellgypsytent

and even now I can
see your soul in
milky sky sunsets
when the colors splatter brilliance
I have perfect memories
of you.
